Where the wild things should be

And that is on my bookshelf! Being a long time fan of Maurice Sendak’s opus “Where the Wild Things Are” strangely only last night I discovered that McFarlane toy company has in 2009, in time for the release of the movie adaptation, produced a whole line based on the characters of the first post-modern picture book that has been called “the picture books of the picture books”.

I would love to have the entire extremely true-to-the-book line up for the children’s literature section of my private book collection, but these monsters which are all big and heavy in construction do not come cheap! So I might settle for the lead characters Max and Moishe, for now.
